OCT 24, 2016: Dr. Karen Feigh of the Cognitive Engineering Center has been elected as an Associate Fellow of the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the largest and most influential aerospace engineering society. More information can be found on the School of Aerospace Engineering's website:
Each year, AIAA members elect Associate Fellows from nominations that include individuals who have made notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics. This year, AIAA selected only 140 nationwide to join the Class of 2017 - just two from GT-AE. Both Feigh and German will be officially inducted in January 2017 during the AIAA SciTech Forum in Grapevine, Texas.
She has been elected alongside fellow GTAE professor, Dr. Brian German, and joins 23 other GTAE faculty as AIAA Fellows.
